The Pedagogy of the Oppressed by Paulo Freire

"The oppressors use their "humanitarianism" to preserve a profitable situation."	How students are turned into "containers" and "receptacles" to be "filled" by teachers.  Makes me wonder why it hasn't changed.   Banking system takes a child's creativity  which makings less  likely to truly gain new age information since the oppressor sticks to what they have learned which stops them from learning, growing, and becoming a better teacher.	"His task is to "fill" the students with the contents of his narration" " The student records, memorizes, and repeats these phrases without perceiving what four times four really means,or realizing the true significance of "capital" in the affirmation"  " Knowledge emerges only through invention  and re-invention, through the restless, impatient continuing, hopeful inquiry human beings pursue in the world, with the world, and with each other."

Little About Me

I guess I should start of by introducing myself, my name is Daniella Criollo. I've been attending Chabot College since August 2011 and am currently getting my AA in Liberal Arts along with my creative writing certificate . I enjoy volunteering and have been doing since I was elementary school you can say. My goals in life are different but connected in away I want to become a Education specialist in the high school. I also eventually would like to travel to el salvador and live with the Pipil and learn more about their culture and language which is nuahal mostly to learn more about my heritage. I also would like to go on a spiritual self discovery and become more connected to the earth and energy. On the side I would also as a side job like to become a healing touch practitioner and get a degree as a Passion Professor but need to reword it because it sounds funny saying I got a degree in PP. I expect to have more goals in my life and try to accomplish it all.
